Best New Additions to MCU-Post Endgame

16) Captain Carter

15)Kahori

14) Echo

13) Kamala Kahn

12) The Contessa AKA Val’ (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine)-played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Val is a great addition to the MCU, though she isn’t quite as interesting as she probably will be someday quite yet. Clearly she is mirroring Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury’s journey from the first couple phases by assembling some villains. Im interested to see where that takes us, because we all know I’m a sucker for a good villain team up.

11) John Walker played by Wyatt Russell

John Walker is incredibly underrated and I would love to see him return. By the end of his debut tv series, he evolved into the US Agent comic fans are familiar with. He offers the world a different take on Captain America, one that further proves how incredible of a human Steve is supposed to be. John is and will always be an interesting character to explore, and Russell played a “knock off dollar store” Cap to a tee. Hopefully the MCU doesn’t drop the ball on this one because I sense some major drama coming surrounding this fascinating character. A lot of people seemed to mis understand the character and didn’t give the show a chance.

10) Sylvie played by Sophia di Martino

Arguably the best variant that Marvel has put up on screen so far since the multiverse saga began. She is undoubtably Loki yet oh so much her own individual. She brings forward something that simultaneously homages Tom Hiddleston as well as offering an interesting character who makes interesting choices. Initially conceived to be the MCU version of the Enchantress, she evolved into being kind of her own thing. Hopefully one day we do get the Enchantress but until then, Sylvie will be more than adequate.

09) Mobius played by Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson will always be watchable even if he played the role of a banana.

08) Adam Warlock played by Will Poulter

Will nailed the character of Warlock, at least the infant side of him. We have yet to see what he will do with the future of the character but so far it’s off to a fantastic start in no short thanks to James Gunn’s expert direction. Will packed on the muscle and underwent quite the transformation for the role.

07) Kang played by Jonathan Majors

It’s a shame that Majors could potentially be replaced due to his personal life’s problems, because man this guy can pull off “bad guy” better than just about anyone before him.

Update: He was fired.

06) Namor played by Tenoch Huerta

Namor played by Huerta delivered a multifaceted, complex borderline antihero/villain that permeated with personality and backstory. Huerta carried himself in a way that frankly sold me on the actor to portray Marvel’s first mutant for years to come.

5) High Evolutionary played by Chuckwudi Iwuji

James Gunn wrote the High Evolutionary to be the biggest piece of s*** you can imagine. It’s rare when we see Disney go all in on villains, and usually when we do, it’s glorious. High Evolutionary is definitely the most intimately scary guy the MCU has seen to date. Spoiler Alert-Recently Kevin Feige let it slip that he isn’t dead yet, which is an exciting prospect to think about where they could take this character in the future.

04) Yelena Bellova played by Florence Pugh

I might get some hate for saying this, but she is better than Scarlet. There, I said it. You will see in time. I called it right here: she will go down in history as the superior Black Widow.

03) Kate Bishop played by Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee doesn’t have a lot of acting chops under belt, but man does she have star power. She is gorgeous, charismatic, funny, personable, plus many more excellent things. She has what it takes to become an A list superhero, and you can mark my words, she will be. It’s clear that they are setting up some very long form storytelling with Kate Bishop, which is exciting because she is arguably the most interesting Young Avenger. Hailee (along with the next two) are arguably the biggest candidates that will one day culturally fill the shoes of the Avengers who have since retired.

02)Moon Knight played by Oscar Issac

Jeez. What a performance. And he’s only just beginning too. Not only that, but the lore that Moon Knight brings to the table is exciting.

01)Shang Chi played by Simu Liu

After I saw Shang Chi for the first time, I remember walking out the theatre and saying “Simu Liu is the next big time Avenger star”. He is funny, charismatic, dynamic with his acting, good looking and buff, and has a real life personality that helps him embody his character. Simu Liu IS Shang Chi already. Can’t wait to see wherever he pops up next, and wherever that may be, is surely to only benefit from his inclusion.

00)Man Thing/WereWolf/Elsa Bloodstone played by Carey Jones, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Laura Donnelly Respectively

In a brisk 55 minute runtime, Werewolf by Night managed to introduce the world to the most fascinating and mysterious trio we have seen on the big screen in a LONG time. They delivered JUST the right amount of information that makes us incredibly intrigued by these characters, without being so short that it was a tease and not quite long enough to get explored. They legit got us hooked, then dipped out. The story telling potential for this trio is just beginning and is by far the most exciting additions to MCU.
